Four rooms above a village bar

The accommodation here is straightforward and comfortable rather than elaborate. Rooms suit travellers who want a settled base in South Brent for walking, cycling, fishing or days out across South Devon, and who would rather spend their time outdoors than inside a hotel.

General in-room features include tea and coffee-making facilities, a shower, a TV, a work desk and linens. Every room is non-smoking, pets are welcome on request at no extra charge, and please note the property has no internet access available.

Twin Room with Private Bathroom

A practical room for friends walking together or a family sharing, arranged around two twin beds with a private bathroom of its own. There is space to dry off, spread out a map and sort kit between days on the moor.

Tea and coffee-making facilities, a shower, a TV, a work desk and linens are all provided, and the room is non-smoking like the rest of the inn.

King Room

A quiet room built around a single king bed, suited to couples spending a few nights near the moor. Windows look out over the village rather than a car park, and the room sits far enough from the bar to stay peaceful.

Tea and coffee-making facilities, a shower, a TV, a work desk and linens are provided.

Double Room with Private Bathroom

A double room with its own private bathroom, comfortable for couples and generous for a single traveller who likes a little more space than a night's stop usually allows.

Tea and coffee-making facilities, a shower, a TV, a work desk and linens are provided.

Superior King Room

The inn's superior room, again with a king bed, and the one to ask for when you want somewhere properly settled to return to. There is room to sit rather than only to sleep, which matters on a longer stay.

Tea and coffee-making facilities, a shower, a TV, a work desk and linens are provided.

Somewhere to put your boots down, hang a wet coat and sleep properly before the next long day on the moor.
